Happy MORE THAN GOOD Friday❣️ Spread the Good News❣️
We have a testimony❣️After Pastor Elliott Fisher Jr. left the bank at Giant Eagle in Baden today he saw a woman holding a sign that read, "Help feed my children" in the parking lot. It caught his attention because it was not asking for something for herself. He rolled down the window and asked the woman if she truly needed food to feed her children. She replied, "Si" in Spanish. He told her to meet him at the Giant Eagle entrance and he turned the car around to meet her there. He could see her running across the parking lot through his review mirror. Once inside he told her to get what she needed and he would meet her at the register to pay for her items. She insisted that he accompany her and said she needed to make stew/soup. When he seen that she got numerous vegetables, a pack of bottled water, canned goods, chicken and pork he was reassured that he was doing the right thing. She had 3 children and the only thing she got for herself was a package of macaroons which she hugged and said, "this for me". The bill totaled around $150. We just wanted to give a testimony about how your donations help us help others. When you sow to Abundant Life Ministries of Aliquippa you are sowing into good ground. Thanks to our MVP's (Ministry Valued Partners) we were able to be a blessing to this family. He did not get her name, He simply said, "God bless you" and she was very appreciative. A.L.M. Prayer Journey Week 4 of 4: “God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said. It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have” (1 Corinthians 12:6-11). “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly” (Romans 12:4-8). God is our creator. Since every human being was made in His image deep within us is an innate desire to accomplish and to make things happen because that’s what God does. Sometimes we ignore and neglect this desire because we may feel inadequate or unworthy, but God would never create us to do something without equipping us with the means to do it. These means are called abilities, skills or talents. They are gifts given by God to help us do and accomplish great things for the benefit of building His Kingdom. How we use or misuse the gifts God has given us effects our relationship with Him, our spiritual growth and our ability to live the Abundant Life Christ offers. If you don’t already know what your gift is it’s whatever you do well. It’s what you enjoy doing. It’s what you are passionate about. Our gifts bring us pleasure and God is pleasured when He sees us putting them to work in our lives to glorify Him. Don’t waste time dreaming of gifts your desire or think you should have, that’s an insult to the one who gave you the gift you do have. Be thankful for the gift and maximize the doors they open for you when they are used properly. Use your gifts to do good and not to do evil. God will reward your obedience of fulfilling His will and plan for your life. Heavenly Father, we thank you for every gift you have given the men, women, teens and youth of our family and community. God we ask that you would help them discover their gift, thank you for it and use it for good and not for evil. Your word says the harvests is plenty, it’s the workers that are few. God we ask that you send workers to Abundant Life Ministries of Aliquippa who are excited and willing to use the gifts you have given them. God send us teachers, musicians, praise & worship leaders, dancers, intercessors, media techs, greeters, ushers, those gifted to give wise counsel, encourage, serve, give finances, discern spirits, heal, perform miracles, prophecy, speak in unknown tongues, interpret tongues and help others. God we desire every gift you have for the body of Christ. We thank you in advance for 50 new tithing ministry partners whom you will fill with your Holy Spirit so they are equipped to effectively build your Kingdom. We decree that we will be used to restore hope, life, freedom, love and truth to the city of Aliquippa. In Jesus matchless name we pray, Amen. ~Lady Aishia Fisher

A.L.M. Prayer Journey Week 3: “For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood” (Romans 3:25a). Salvation is deliverance from the wrath of God and the power of sin by way of redemption. Redemption is deliverance by way of paying a price. The price for salvation was paid with Jesus’s blood which He shed on the cross when He was crucified to pay the debt of our sins. Sin separates us from God and prevents us from having a healthy personal relationship with Him. Salvation enables our relationship with God to be restored. Salvation is as easy as A, B, C: Acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a savior from sin. Believe that Jesus Christ is that savior. Confess that you have given Christ permission to be the Lord of your life. These 3 steps save you from the wrath of God which would have resulted in you spending eternity in Hell and now enables you to instead live with God eternally in Heaven. We then enter the process of being saved from the power of sin while we still live on Earth. This can only be done by surrendering your life to be controlled by the Holy Spirit who is the helper God sent once Jesus rose from the dead and returned to His throne in Heaven. Finally we will be saved from the very presence of sin once Christ returns to Earth to establish a new Heaven and a new Earth. Heavenly Father, we thank you for your saving power. We pray that the men, women, teens and youth of our family and community will choose to be free from the wrath of God and the power of sin. We pray that they choose this day to live the Abundant Life Christ made available when He shed His blood on the cross to pay the debt of our sins. We thank you in advance for their salvation. In Jesus matchless name we pray, Amen. ~Lady Aishia Fisher
